About the event
Tony Teleky started his drum education with Sheila Klotz in 2008 and journeyed into the foundational aspects of drumline, drum set and mallet percussion over the next 6-years. His drum navigational track took him along the drumline route as he excelled in rudimental drumming with performance experience and marching tenures with George Mason University Indoor Drumline, The Cadets from 2014 - 2016 - culminating as the Cadets Snare Section Leader in 2017. He capped off his performance career in Broken City (CA) Indoor Percussion snareline in both the 2017 and 2018 seasons.
Transitioning to DCI instructor was his next step and includes SnarelineTech for Carolina Crown, 2023, Battery Staff for Spirit of Atlanta from 2019 - 2021, Camp Instructor at the Matt Savage Marching Percussion Camp, Imperial Dynasty (PWI) HS caption head / arranger for Huntington High School, Cory HS and Green Hope HS (both in NC).
Tony completed his both his Masters and Bachelors in Engineering, on scholarship, from Duke University. He endorses Vic Firth and is the designer and developer of the popular Tony Teleky Signature Bus Drum Pad by Beetle Percussion.
