FAQ's

When can I send the video?

You can email your video anytime after you complete the registration process.

Is there an age limit?

Yes - drummers that wish to enter the contest must be between the age of 12-15 years old at the beginning of the camp (July 18, 2026)

What if the camp reaches capacity before the contest registration period?

Registration will remain open ONLY to drummers ages 12-15 for contest entry.  If you are not selected as the winner you will not be able to attend the 2026 MADC.  If you want to attend the camp regardless of scholarship award, we recommend you check the box:  "Enter TRX contest & Register for MADC 26"

The MADC Handbook says we have to send a none-fundable deposit March 1, 2026 and other payments are due prior to the end of the contest registration.  What should I do?
If you register for both the camp and scholarship contest, your nonrefundable deposit and subsequent payments must be sent by March 1, 2026. The contest winner will be reimbursed for any payments sent (NTE $1400) Rental kit fee of $100, if needed, is not included in the prize package.

What if I register for the contest but I don't win.  Can I attend the camp at the normal price $1425?

The contest registration form will have the option to register for both the 2026 Camp and the contest.  You can either:

a.  Register for both the camp and the contest (this ensures your spot in the camp if you don't win)

b.  Select the box "Register for contest only."

NOTE: If the camp reaches capacity, registration will close If the winner did not check the box "register for the camp & the contest" they will still receive a spot in the 2026 camp unless they are selected as the scholarship winner..

Sheila Klotz is the camp host and endorses TRX Cymbals.  Will she be on the selection committee?

Sheila is not participating in the scholarship in the decision process.
